Privacy policy
Last updated: July 20, 2026
Arden Main, operated by Ten Thirteen LLC, runs this online store along with everything connected to it, the product catalog, features, tools, checkout, and other services on the site (collectively, the "Services") to give visitors an organized way to shop the goods we offer. The store is built on Shopify's e-commerce platform, which is what allows us to keep the Services available to you. This Privacy Policy walks through what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have about all of that whenever you browse, place an order, or otherwise interact with us.
Please read this policy fully. By using the Services, you confirm that you understand how your information is handled the way this document describes.
Personal Information We Collect
The specific pieces of personal information we end up holding on you depend on how you use the site and what you choose to share with us. Contact related items may include your first and last name, your billing and shipping address, your phone number, and your email address. Payment related items may include card details, order records, transaction confirmations, and other data our payment processor generates as part of processing your purchase. Account-related items may include usernames, passwords, saved preferences, and communication settings. Transaction related items cover the products you've looked at, added to cart, purchased, cancelled, or returned. Support-related items include the content of the messages, calls, and emails you send our team when you're asking for help. Device and browsing related items include your IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers, along with the pages you view, the time you spend on them, and the way you move through the store.
How We Collect It
Some of the personal information above comes to us directly from you when you register an account, complete a checkout, message our support team, or otherwise fill something out on the site. Other pieces are collected automatically in the background using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies that fire when you land on our pages. Additional information reaches us through the third-party service providers that keep the store running behind the scenes, such as our payment processor, our shipping partners, our analytics platform, and our marketing tools. And occasionally we may receive information from advertising partners or public sources, which we combine with what we already know about you to make our marketing more relevant.
How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to complete the transactions you initiate, that means processing your order, confirming payment, arranging shipment, sending you shipping updates, and handling any returns or refunds afterward. We also use it to run and secure the customer accounts on our site, to reply to your questions and complaints when you contact our support team, and to send marketing communications about products and promotions we think you'll be interested in (which you can always opt out of, as described further below). Beyond that, we rely on it to detect and prevent fraud, unauthorized purchases, and other misuse of the store, to improve the site itself through analytics, and to comply with tax law, consumer protection law, and any other legal obligation that applies to our business.
How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only with parties who have a legitimate role to play in making the store work. That group includes Shopify, our e-commerce platform provider, along with the payment processors, shipping carriers, and warehouse partners that fulfill your orders. It also includes the analytics vendors we use to understand how the site is performing and the advertising and marketing partners who help us find new customers and reach visitors who have shown interest in our products. Where those partners are involved, they handle your data subject to their own privacy commitments and are contractually restricted from using it for purposes beyond what we've authorized. We may also disclose information when we're legally required to, for instance, in response to a subpoena, court order, or lawful request from a government authority or when we need to protect the rights, property, or safety of Arden Main, our customers, or the public. Finally, if we ever go through a merger, acquisition, financing transaction, or sale of business assets, personal information may transfer to the successor entity as part of that deal.
Relationship with Shopify
Because our storefront is built on Shopify's platform, information you submit to the Services is transmitted to and processed on Shopify's infrastructure, along with the infrastructure of the third-party subprocessors Shopify uses, some of which are located outside the United States. To learn about how Shopify handles the data flowing through its systems, you can read the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy at shopify.com/legal/privacy/app-users. Shopify also runs a Privacy Portal at privacy.shopify.com where you can submit certain requests directly.
Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies
We rely on cookies, pixels, tags, and comparable tools to make the site work properly, to remember what's in your cart between visits, to save your settings and preferences, to measure how well our marketing is performing, and to serve advertisements to you off-site. You can adjust or disable most cookies through your browser's settings, though doing so may disable some site features, for example, staying signed in or holding items in your cart across sessions. Where required by law, our storefront also displays a consent banner so you can choose which non essential cookie categories to allow before any of them fire.
Children's Data
The Services are built for adults and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of thirteen, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under sixteen without the affirmative authorization required by U.S. law. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has submitted personal information to us, please contact our team and we will locate the information and delete it from our systems.
Data Retention and Security
We hold on to personal information for only as long as it takes to accomplish the purposes it was collected for completing your orders, running your account, meeting tax and record keeping obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our terms. Once that period is up, we either delete the information or de-identify it so that it can no longer be linked back to you. On the security side, we use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and loss. That said, no method of transmitting data over the internet or storing it electronically is completely immune from risk, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and we recommend against sending highly sensitive personal information through unencrypted channels.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on the state you live in and the specific laws that apply to it, you may be entitled to a number of privacy rights with respect to the personal information we hold on you. These typically include the right to know what categories of personal information we've collected about you and what we've done with it, the right to receive a copy of that information in a portable format, the right to correct information that's inaccurate, the right to have your information deleted subject to certain exceptions, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information or its use for targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email support@ardenmain.com from the address associated with your account or order, or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page. Because we take these requests seriously and want to make sure we act on them for the right person, we will typically need to verify your identity before processing a request. Our separate Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page walks through the opt-out procedure in more detail.
Information Transfers Outside Your State or Country
Although Arden Main only ships within the United States, some of the third parties that support the Services, Shopify, our payment processor, our analytics vendor, and various advertising partners operate infrastructure and personnel in multiple U.S. states and, in some cases, other countries. That means your personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in a state or country different from the one you live in. Where such transfers are subject to specific legal requirements, we and our partners rely on recognized safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to keep the information adequately protected.
Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy over time to reflect changes in our practices, in the tools we use, or in the laws that apply to us. Anytime we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and, where the law requires it, notify you through a more prominent channel like an on-site banner or an email. Continuing to use the Services after a revised version has been posted means you accept the updated terms.
